I wouldn't bother with DD-WRT at all personally, unless they've fixed QoS in the recent years. I thought once the custom cfe was flashed it would spoof the EA6900 into an Asus AC-68U. So I tried flashing the tomato from shibby and totmato advance for teh AC-68U through xwrt gui flash page. Consider this CFE as replacement for stock faulty EA6900 CFE. Not AC68U "emulator". So you can flash DD-WRT for EA6900, AsusWRT compiled for EA6900, Tomato for EA6900 (oops, there was no tomato for EA6900 ) and so on. Probably stock fw for EA6900 will run too. P.S.: Here is Tomato by Shibby v126 for EA6900.
